In light of the tightening Covid-19 rules around the world, we would like to reassure mushers that IFSS, WSA and Polardistans are taking the pandemic seriously and are working hard to make the On-Snow World Championships 2022 in Sweden happen within a safe framework.
After we were not able to stage any Championships in 2021, we will do everything in our power to make sure the 2022 Championships can go ahead. We might have to alter the way we traditionally do things but we are confident that mushers, officials and spectators will understand and support this.
We are in regular contact with the relevant authorities in Sweden and will adjust our plans as required. We will also keep you updated on a regular basis.
For now, we would like to wish you, your families and four-legged friends a peaceful Holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year.
